Wilfredo Jose Tortolero-Arriechi is accused of stabbing 51-year-old Alberto Rangel on Dec. 4 inside Zuckerberg San Francisco Common Hospital.
Authorities say the assault occurred in Ward 86 because the suspect was being escorted out, when he allegedly grabbed Rangel and stabbed him “quite a few occasions” in entrance of hospital employees.
Rangel died two days afterward Dec. 6.
