A California bishop allegedly pocketed a rich CEO’s $200,000 money donation meant to renovate a Catholic church earlier than leaving the state for Michigan.
Yousif Abdulmasih, often known as Marnaba Yousif Habash, is accused of taking the donation from Hani Toma, a member of Our Mom of Perpetual Assist Syriac Catholic Church in El Cajon, in response to ABC10.
Toma alleges the bishop advised him the church wanted transforming however lacked sufficient cash to finish the mission and was counting on donations.
